Hot Melt Equipment Options
Here are a few of the equipment options that are available with our hot melt systems.

Semi-Automatic Bleed/Boost
The Model 382 Semi-Automatic Bleed/Boost Option improves both productivity and safety since bleed and boost functions can be performed from the Touchscreen. No need to reach inside of a hot drum to open or cloase a valve. Plus, when the platen reaches the bottom of a drum, it can automatically boost to a park position at the top of the drum and reduce your drum change time.

Non-Stick Coating on Platen
Customers that use PUR adhesives love the easy cleaning they get with this non-stick coating on the platen.

Single-Point Dispensing
This dispensing valve is simple, reliable, and can deliver a lot of adhesive quickly.

Handguns
The Uniflow Handgun has a low-force trigger that makes it easy to operate. Machined out of a solid piece of aluminum, this handgun is built to last.

Clamshell
The clamshell allows fiber drums to be used even if they are damaged.

Exhaust Shroud
Connect the exhaust shroud to your existing exhaust system, and fumes will be pulled away from the platen during drum changes.

Containment Cone
Cable manufacturers appreciate the design of our containment cone, or dispensing head. The split design makes it easy to change dies, and the double hinge configuration keeps the input hose from kinking. The easily adjustable photo-eye maintains the desired “donut” of mastic for the stranding application.

Pressure Transducer with Manifold
A high-temperature pressure transducer can be used to monitor and/or control the output pressure from the pump.

Hydraulic Clamping
Offered on our Model 230 machines, hydraulic clamping enables the clamshell to be opened or closed in only 7 seconds.

Linear Position Sensor
The linear position sensor allows the customer to capture real-time pump rate data. It can also be used to coordinate multi-drum operation when continuous flow is needed.

Ram Pressure Boost
The Ram Pressure Boost option can double the ram force on the machine, giving you high pump rates even on extremely viscous materials.

Abrasive-Resistant Pump
Do you have an abrasive material? Then you need our abrasive-resistant pump. This pump lasts twice as long as competing pumps, and at half the price.

Pigtail
Do you already have a T-Bar or Slot Die that you would like to use with your new Uniflow? No problem. We can use this “pigtail” to heat and control your device.

Remote Support
Is an hour of downtime too much? Order a remote support option for faster troubleshooting, quick repairs, and remote system optimization.

Riser
A Riser Kit lifts the bottom of the base plate anywhere from 4″ to 13″ (customer selected) off the floor. This makes it possible to move the machine with a forklift, or make it easier to load drums with a drum handler.

T-Bar Manifolds
The T-Bar Manifold will evenly distribute hot melt across the width of a roll coater.
Customer Reviews
Hot Melt Equipment Manufacturer in the United States★★★★★ 5 / 5 starsRated By Mark C.
“Before purchasing Uniflow equipment, we started out using cold press, an incredibly labor-intensive process. As demand increased, we moved over to using a roll coater with a 5-gallon pail unloader. Over time, demand continued to increase, and it occurred to us that the labor involved in changing a 5-gallon pail was not much different than changing a 55-gallon drum, so we purchased a Uniflow hot melt drum unloader. I was, at first, reluctant to make the capital investment in a larger hot melt unloader, but the Uniflow system has met or exceeded my expectations in every way possible. There has been a significant improvement in productivity from using a 55-gallon drum unloader. The operator interface is simple and clear. The Uniflow team did a fantastic job of training our employees. We were very pleased with the install. The technician, the sales team, and everyone at Uniflow has been very helpful and patient.”
