PUR ADHESIVE WILL CLOG YOUR HOSE
PUR Adhesive is great for a wide range of applications, but the material has a major drawback — with each cycle, a thin layer of PUR cures on the inside of your hose. Over time, the pump rate will start to slowly decline.
How do you know when your hose is clogged? Monitor your pump rate. Over time, the layers build up until the hose capacity is greatly diminished, and it becomes unusable. The hose will still heat, but it’ll be impossible to achieve your desired pump rate.
Most manufacturers will just buy a replacement hose and throw the old one away. A replacement hose might cost $1,000, $2,000, $5,000 — or even more! What if you could get your hose cleaned for $200 to $1,000?
UNIFLOW will first examine your hose for defects and then test it to ensure it heats properly. If the only problem is a buildup of PUR adhesive, we will thoroughly clean the hose so it performs again like it did when it was new.
What if My Hose is Irreparably Damaged?

Will Cleaning Restore the Hose to its Original Condition?
Yes! Our proprietary process will completely clean all PUR adhesive from the core of the hose. Keep in mind that we cannot repair hoses that do not heat or have an RTD sensor that isn’t working. If we are unable to clean the hose for some reason, or the hose fails during our final pressure test, you pay nothing. You only pay if we successfully clean the hose.
How Should I Prepare My Hose Before Shipping?
Coil the hose while it is hot and then plug both ends. If you try to coil while cold, you risk cracking the Teflon core and destroying the hose.
How Should I Package and Ship My Hose?
We generally recommend that you ship via UPS, however, you can use any carrier that you like. If you’re sending more than two hoses, you might find it less expensive to ship by LTL.
